Hebron Mayor Dr. Daoud Zatari and Dr. Peter Kurz the Mayor of Mannheim signed a joint cooperation agreement in various sectors such Water Sector, Alternative Energy Resources, Transportations, E-Municipality, Exchanged Expertise as well as evolving the capacity to improve services provided to citizens.

 

The Celebration which held in Mannheim Municipality to sign cooperation agreements between Hebron Municipality and various German Municipalities was also attended by Eng. Nader Bitar a Municipal Council Member, Eng. Amjad Ebeido the General Manager’s Assistant of Engineering and Urban Planning, Saeed Khatib the Director of KPC and others of Mannheim Municipal Council Members in addition to  Mr. Ulrich Nitschke the Director of GIZ.

 

Dr. Zatari underlined the efforts by Hebron Municipality to get the opportunity of signing a twinning agreement with Mannheim Municipality, He also underlined the need to build cooperation and enhancing ties with the City of Mannheim in order to exchange expertise in different development sectors and implementing joint projects in Hebron due to the high efficient Human Capacity. He afterwards added that International Relations allow World’s People to get a first hand view of Palestinian reality on the ground and support the strategic plan of the city to achieve a recent living condition for the citizens.

 

Mr. Nitschke expressed his happiness to sign a cooperation agreement within few months between Municipalities of Hebron and Mannheim which definitely reflects the joint interest between the two cities to have a better future.

 

Thereafter, Dr. Kurtz added that cooperation agreement will enhance both cities’ children future well as promoting the communication among all world people and races.
