    Statement Issued By Hebron's Institutions

The Israeli Occupation Authority lunched inhuman military attacks on the Palestinian Cities; particularly on Hebron Governorate using the "alleged kidnapping” as a pretext to launch a racist campaign against Palestinians, where the Israeli troops raided innocent civilians homes, destroyed their properties, ill-treated and frightening woman and children, in addition to other practices and measures which go against human rights, International Humanitarian Law and treaties that call for saving lives during Occupation.

Regarding the miserable condition of Hebron City, the Hebron's civil institutions hold an emergency meeting chaired by Hebron Municipal Council to discuss the current suffering of Hebron citizens, which could be then declared as an afflicted area.

Many recommendations in terms of saving Hebron were agreed on by the attendances:
    1.      We hold the Israeli Occupation Authority chaired by Benjamin Netanyahu, the Current Prime Minister, the whole responsible for the situation aggravated in Hebron and for the measures committed against the innocent citizens.

    2.       We hold the Israeli Occupation the responsible for allowing the settlers to brutalityattacks the civilians.
    3.      We appeal Ban Ki-Moon, the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the European Union, to intervene to stop the attacks on the citizens of Hebron, and also ask for providing its citizens the legal protection from the Israel's extreme use of force.
    4.      We appeal the Secretary General of the Arab League, the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the Arab Towns Organization for taking urgent steps towards saving Hebron.
    5.      We implore all Human Rights Organizations as well the International Humanitarian law to take affirmative steps to end the Occupation violation.
    6.      We call all international bodies to end Palestinian prisoners suffering as they have been on hunger-strike since 56 days, to stop administrative detention, and to save lives for more than 6,000 suffered detainees.
