    Manheim Delegation Rounds off the Visit to Hebron


      The visited delegation of Manheim City rounded of his three-day visit to Hebron, which was organized to get a first-hand view of Hebron's reality on the ground, moreover, to promote cooperation between both cities' institutions.

    On the second day of the visit, the delegations of Hebron and Manheim made a tour to Hebron Municipality's Industrial School, where the school director, Hashem Karaki, briefed them the different specializations of the school. Then, tours were made to both Al-Ibrahimia and Al-faiha' Schools in which they have showed the schools' miserable condition due to the occupation. Many visits to Hebron Municipal Facilities and the municipal executed projects were also toured during the delegation's visit.
     
    Hebron Municipality then organized a tour to Palestine Polytechnic University (PPU) in order to meet with the University President, Ibrahim Masri, the University's Academic members and students. The various successful stories achieved by the University in the course of latest years were among issues discussed in the presence of the Mayor of Hebron, Dr. Daoud Zatari well as members of Hebron's Municipal Council.
     
    Thereafter, the delegation visited Jerusalem City where they toured the Old City and Al-Aqsa Mosque accompanied by Eng. Nader Bitar, a municipal council membr, Saeed Al-khateeb, KPC's Director, Bilal Muhtaseb, an employee of the municipality's public relations in addition to Ghaith Ghaith, an employee of Hebron Municipality's Media Department.
     
    Along the visit, Dr. Zatari underlined that Hebron Municipality aims at promoting ties with World's Cities, for the sake of exchanging experiences, and revealing the Israeli Occupation's extreme acts of violence against the innocent dwellers." We are keen for further future projects between the Cities of Hebron and Manheim for ensuring a high quality life for the citizens" Added the mayor.
     
    Dr. Kurz expressed his happiness for his visit to Hebron, also expressed his profound sorrow for the deep plight and suffers of the Palestinians particularly Hebron's Old City's inhabitants', stressing the necessity of strengthen the ties and partnership with the City of Hebron.
