In the meeting with Geir Holmenes, the New TIPH Head of Mission, who recently received his new missions, Dr. Zatari called the TIPH to exert more efforts in following-up the Israeli Violation that's performed against the citizens who lived particularly in areas of Hebron's Old City and of Tall Rumidah. Mr. Holmenes was accompanied by Francesco Bilamcioni, Deputy Head of Mission. The meeting was also aimed at promoting cooperation opportunities between the Municipality and the TIPH in the coming period.
Dr. Zatari then underlined the role played by the TIPH in providing the Hebronites the decent living conditions, and praised the role of the former Head of Mission in cooperating with Hebron Municipality.
Dr. Zatari, moreover, spoke about the political and security conditions in the city well as the daily Palestinians suffering due to Israeli Occupation and settlers practices.
Dr. Zatari stressed the Municipality willingness to facilitate the TIPH mission in the Old City and in other areas.
By the end of the meeting, Holmenes confirmed that he will do his best to serve the citizens and the city needs in lines with the international agreements regarding the Palestinian-Israeli affairs.
