The Mayor of Hebron, Dr. Daoud Zatari, as well as the Mayor of Genoa, Mr. Marco Doria, visited the Water and Sanitation new building to get a view on the finishing touches left to opening the new department, and the field tour was in the attendance of the Italian Delegation and of Members from Hebron's Municipal Council. It is worth mentioning that the new building is financed by the Palestinian Municipalities Support Program (PMSP) well as the Municipality of Genoa.
The Mayor of Hebron put lights on the deep ties and cooperation between Hebron Municipality and the cities of Italy particularly the Cities of Genoa and Turin, and underlined the importance of supporting the water project as it's the main sector in the city of Hebron, calling for more joint projects that could achieve the public benefits.
Mr. Doria expressed happiness of the municipality achievements in the Water and Sanitation building and referred to the deep relation between the municipalities of Genoa and Hebron.
On the sidelines of the Italian Day which was held in the Palestine Polytechnic University and in cooperation with Hebron Municipality and Italian Institutions, Dr. Zatari honored the Italian Consul Mr. David La Cecilia and Mayors of Italian Cities which have joint cooperation with Hebron Municipality.
