Children Happiness Center, a Municipal Facility, opened "Champion of Reading" film that was supported by Palestinian Telecommunications Group. The film which was prepared by The Centers staff and volunteers was attended by 150 children.
The story of Rachel Fell’s “Champion of Reading“ tackles the issue of children whom have difficulties in reading, and it revolves round a story’s protagonist Terra whom was taught by a Teacher who exerts more efforts teaching him how to get familiar with reading. The film which contains animated cartoon and cutouts cardboard was supervised by Neda Al-Bakri, Maryam Al-Herbawi, Rawan Hasasneh, Haya Al- Muhtaseb, as well as Lena Abu Rajab whom have worked on the project since 3 years.
Moreover, Mr. Mahmoud Abu Sbeih Director of Municipal Cultural and Youth Activities Department underlined that the movie will be shown at more than 20 schools and kindergartens. The opportunity of displaying the movie on internet and social media was among the intended objectives of the department. Mr. Abu Sbeih thereafter praised the role played by Palestinian Telecommunication Group in supporting such purposeful projects aimed at educated children.
