The Opportunity of allocating the support to many vital projects particularly to infrastructure projects in the city of Hebron was among issues discussed with national and international donors in the meeting chaired by the Mayor of Hebron, Dr. Daoud Zatari . the visiting delegation was also eager to follow up the progression of the current projects that have implemented in the city.
The visiting donors comprised of the Municipal Development and Lending Fund (MDLF), the European Union, the German Development Bank (KFW), the World Bank as well as the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
After welcoming the delegation, the Mayor Zatari touched on the municipal projects even they are under implementation projects , future plans or the municipal significant achievements, and spoke about the exerted efforts by the municipal staff in achieving development in the Southern Area of Hebron despite of the obstructions committed by the Israeli Authority.
Dr. Zatari then called the donors to exert pressure on the Israeli side to facilitate completing many implementation in the infrastructure as well as in the sanitation field at the Southern area of the city. By reason of the Israeli obstruction, this area severely suffered of the past weather episode.
