After welcoming the delegation, Dr. Zatari briefly spoke about the City of Hebron and its historiy. He then touched on the citizens' suffering whom particularly live in the Southern Area of the City which's a quite controlled area by the Israeli Occupation. He referred to projects provided and financed by the Italian such the project of Water and Sanitation Development as well as the current project of the Technology Park, which's in cooperation with Turin Municipality.

 

Dr. Zatari stressed that the technology park would have sparkle effects on the decent graduate students, in which enables them to execute their creative ideas on the ground, and curbs the unemployment.

 

Mr. Antonio La Rocca, PMSP Director, expressed his happiness for the cooperation between Hebron and the cities of Genoa and Turin. This cooperation will play a main role in enhancing the Municipal Human Capabilities in addition to improving the provided services efficiency, he added.

 

It's worth mentioning that the delegation visit will last for a week, and on the sidelines of the meeting, Dr. Zatari called Milano Mayor to have a visit to Hebron City with a view to build a high level cooperation.
