    Scottish Delegation Gets a View of the City Situation


     The Mayor of Hebron, Dr. Daoud Zatari, briefed Mr. Jim Malone, FBU Member, and his accompanied delegation, on the political condition of Hebron , its division  into H1 and H2, the unlawful confiscation of lands, and the illegal practices by the settlers against the citizens who dwell in areas adjacent to Al-Ibrahimi Mosque and Tall Rumaida, these practices violate all international treatments and laws that call for human rights, he added.  The meeting was in the attendance of Members from Hebron's municipal council.

    Dr. Zatari also put lights on the services provided by the municipality to cover the city need, and gave a special attention to  Hebron Municipality Fire Brigade Section. He mentioned that " the section needs additional equipments and much training for the staff, as this section services are not just ed to the city of Hebron but also to other cities in the Governorate, however, the Mayor then praised the positive stance of Scotland people and government  for stand in solidarity with the Palestinians.
     
    On the other sides, Mr. Malone expressed profound dismay over the Israeli  illegal violations that perpetrated against the Palestinians, and after  his visit to the Old City of Hebron and getting a first-hand view of the condition on the ground, he promised to convey the real suffering of the citizens  to the Government and people of Scotland. Moreover, he submitted five letters of solidarity with the Palestinians from the Scottish people, and particularly from Mr. Humza Yousaf, Minister for Europe and International Development.
