In the meeting with the visiting delegation from the Turkish International Cooperation Agency, the Mayor of Hebron, Dr. Daoud Zatari, Discussed promoting mutual cooperation between the two sides, as well as the opportunity of implementing different projects in the city of Hebron. The meeting was in the attendance of members from Hebron Councilors.

 

After welcoming the delegation, Dr. Zatari, expressed happiness for their visit to Hebron. He put lights on the deep ties between the Palestinian and Turkish Governments, and praised the positive stance of the Turkish Government in providing support to the Palestinian people particularly in providing  funds for implementing many vital projects in the city of Hebron.

 

Dr. Zatari then said " Hebron Municipality will organize a Palestinian- Turkish Day in the near future ", and added the city is in dare need  of new projects which will increase job opportunities for the citizens especially who are recent graduates. The Mayor also asked TIKA to focus its support to the Education and Health sectors.

 

Mr. Mesken thanked the Mayor for the warm reception, and expressed willingness to cooperate with Hebron Municipality in implementing other vital projects which will serve the people needs and  enhance their living conditions.
