Hebron Mayor Bids Farewell TIPH's Head of Mission

At the last meeting with Christine Fossen, TIPH's Head of Mission, where her duties in Hebron City are about to be terminated by the beginning of the next month, Dr. Zatari underlined the importance and impact of the TIPH presence on Hebron City such as supporting developmental projects in Hebron aimed at enhancing the locals' living conditions. Also, he lauded the role played by the TIPH mission which is presently headed by Mrs. Fossen to facilitate implementing municipal services.

Dr. Zatari spoke about political and security conditions in the city, daily Palestinian suffering due to Israeli occupation's violent measures as well as settler's practices that are committed against the citizens of Hebron's Old City.

Dr. Zatari stressed the municipality willingness to continue cooperation with TIPH and to facilitate the implementation of its missions in Hebron.

Mrs. Fossen then thanked the mayor for the warm reception and hospitality, and mentioned that the days she has lived in Hebron will remain firmly in her memories, adding that she hoped that peace and justice would prevail in Palestine.
