A voluntary action day was organized in cooperation with Hebron Municipality with a view to enhance Hebron's squares of Namira well as Habayel Riyah. The voluntary day was attended by Eng. Nader Bitar, a Municipal Council Member, Dr. Daoud Qawasmi, Trigon Company's Regional Director, Bader Hawamdeh, Agriculture Ministry's Director, Mohammad Herbawi, Hebron's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Director as well as Amjad Ebido and Samer Owaiwi, Municipal Engineers in addition to other organizations' members.

 

The voluntary action day has a main role particularly in promoting citizenship in local communities and in raising the awareness of inhabitants, so Hebron Municipality's Road Section continued its streets rehabilitation efforts with a view to upgrading and paving the city's roads in line with Hebron Municipality's Strategic Plan.

 

Maher Owaiwi, Hebron Municipality's General Manager said "Hebron Municipality aimed at enhancing the City's green spaces through planting trees and plants to preserve Hebron's Environment as well as the public health of its inhabitants in addition to enhance the beauty of the city". The first phase of Greening Hebron Project is expected to be completed in the course of this year.
