    Hebron Municipality and KOICA Renew The Joint Cooperation For Further Future


    Dr. Daoud Zatari The Mayor of Hebron met today with Chang Hyun-Sink the Vice President of KOICA accompanied by Kim Young-woo the Representative of KOICA in Palestine. The meeting which was attended by Allam Ashhab the General Manager of International Cooperation and a municipal Staff discussed promoting cooperation opportunity  and enhancing the ties between Hebron Municipality and KOICA through evolving  joint projects and exchanging expertise .
     
     Dr. Zatari spoke about close ties between the two countries, political and economic conditions in Hebron as well as daily Palestinian suffering due to Israeli occupation practices and violations against Old City inhabitants under the pretext of protecting settlers . Joint projects between KOICA and Hebron were also discussed with an emphasis on the role played by SCH University and KOICA in supporting Palestinians.
     
    The mayor of Hebron expressed his happiness of KPC's achievements and the positive side in which affect women and children in especial. He then stressed on the importance of improving the capacity of human revenues throughout efficient training courses and exchanging expertise as well as implementing projects to exploit the recent graduated students in order to unemployment in Palestine .
     
    Dr. Zatari underlined the need to upgrade the health sector by providing hospitals and health care centers with efficient medical staff , in addition to build a medical center deals with emergency cases for Old City Inhabitants . “Hebron’s inhabitants almost totally depend on public hospitals”, he added.
     
    Mr. Sink said he sympathized with Palestinian and their just cause , he also expressed his happiness for his first visit to Palestine and  his readiness  to build cooperation with Palestinian just as other precedent projects by KOICA,  He then confirmed his willingness to support of Communication Sector by evolving the efficiency of the Sector's cadres throughout exchanging  expertise with Palestinian .
     
    By the end of the meeting , symbolic gifts were exchanged between the two delegations .
