The Mayor of Hebron Dr. Daoud Zatari stressed on Palestinian's Participation in World Conferences that has an effective role in supporting the Palestinian Cause and exposing the Israelis’ Occupation practices and violations. In addition, the Mayor illustrated the importance of exchange of expertise and enhancing ties with world institutions that assists in enhancing various projects to achieve a better and a decent life for the citizens.

 

Mayor's speech came after attending the second world conference of Local Economic Development in Iguaçu Falls-Brazil as a representative of the State of Palestine accompanied by Dr. Salah Alhussainee a municipal council member , and Mr. Allam Ashhab , the General Manager of International Cooperation .

 

“We underlined the political conditions that Palestinians face daily to Societies of the World, as well as the political obstacles put by the Israeli Occupation against executing infrastructure projects. We then touched on the efforts of Palestinian cadres with a view to enhance services and projects provided to inhabitants.” Hebron Mayor said.

 

 He also added that the forum consumed in holding different meetings with World Capitals and heads of Worlds’ Supporting Institutions to promote partnership and build cooperation in different projects.

 

It is worth mentioning that The Municipal delegation met with the Mayors of Barcelona and Madrid, Argentina's Ambassador in Brazil, members in the UN, and Representatives of the Arab Community in Brazil. They have also met with the Former President of Brazil Lula Da Silva who is considered the most effective in the industrial revolution and the founder of all developmental projects in Brazil.
