Dr. Daoud Zatari mayor of Hebron, honored the former director of the Korean International Cooperation "KOICA" and the current director and president of the Asan Korean Center for their efforts in supporting cooperating with the city of Hebron and with the municipality of Hebron.
Furthermore, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Korean Palestinian center and Asan Center in South Korea in order to promote cooperation and the exchange of scientific and practical experiences between the two parties, in the presence of the director of the Korean cooperation Center in Palestine, "KOICA" "Kim Aoonjuo,", the former director of the Center , "Lee Sangbak" , the President and Professor of the Center for Korean Asan "Min Kim," and the general manager of the Hebron municipality Eng. Maher Oweiwi.
This agreement will strengthen the ties, development and construction relationship between Korean and Palestinian people, as well as, support the implementation of different activities and events between the two centers and cities.
The agreement also includes the exchange of academic information and related training in the youth sector to take advantage of them over five years with the possibility of its renewal and development based on the parties’ views and the interests and objectives achievements.
The head of the Korea Asan Center Professor "Kim" on the depth of Palestinian Korean relationship, praising the cooperation between the two parties, which exceeded at this stage four years and wished to continue, succeed, achieve the best and contribute to the development of human capacity.
On the other hand, director of the Korean Palestinian center Saeed Khatib, thanked the Korean government and citizens continued support considering this agreement an integral part of the relationship between the two parties wishing to continue the exchange of experiences and programs.
