United States Agency of International Development (USAID), Organized an Iftar Dinner for the citizens who dwell in Qilqes Area, for the celebration of Opening Qilqes Primary School for Boys, which had been financed by USAID and implemented by Global Communities.
Qilqes School provides services for 330 students . It includes 11 classes, a Science Laboratory, a Computer Laboratory and a Library. It also contains a Waste Water Treatment plant and solar panels to generate electricity for the school.
In the Municipality welcoming speech, Ms. Zeina Shaheen conveyed the Mayor Dr. Daoud Zatari's regards and compliments, and underlined the municipality's keenness on deepening the ties with the USAID with a view to bring further mutual projects that will serve the local development.
