USAID Mission Director Meets with Mayor of Hebron Before Assuming New Position

Mr. Dave Harden, the USAID Mission Director to West Bank and Gaza, met with Hebron Mayor, Dr. Daoud Zatari, before  assuming his new Position as a USAID Assistant Administrator for the Bureau of Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance based in Washington D.C. In this farewell meeting, Dr. Zatari and Mr. Harden discussed the opportunity of sustaining USAID support to the local development in the city of Hebron.

The Mayor then briefed Mr. Harden about the recent political developments in the city,  and stressed on the importance of continuation of providing support to social development projects ,in light of  the bad circumstances that prevailed in the city of Hebron, a result of  the Israeli Occupation violating measures that used to affect negatively on the economic condition of the city.

By the end of the meeting, Dr. Zatari thanked Mr. Harden for his efforts that have been exerted to support Hebron Municipality in implementing vital projects which aim at serving the public  and at enhancing the local development.
