    Hebron Municipality takes Part in WEGO Conference


     Hebron Municipality takes part in the World E-Governments Conference (WEGO) that held in Chengdu; a Chinese City. The conference comprises of Mayors as well as Deputy-Mayors of many cities in the world, and Hebron Municipality was represented by Dr. Daoud Zatari, the Mayor of Hebron, Jawdi Abu Sneina, the Deputy-Mayor in addition to Eng. Jumana Dweik, who is competent in the field of E-Municipalities.

    Dr. Zatari is considered as one of the founders of this conference, and he underlined that the importance of the WEGO conference is promoting the e-governments in municipalities, in the context of simplifying the administrative procedures, and of providing high-quality services in the accordance with world technical and technology standards which consequently will improve the institutional performance.
     
    The Mayor Zatari met with Sheng Qiu Peng, the mayor of Yiwu to discuss head topics regarded the two municipalities, and it is worth mentioning that a twinning agreement will be signed between the both sides once the conference ends.
     
    On the sidelines ofthe conference, many sessions held with Chinese official figures with a view to promote future cooperation and to search for funding concerning the vital projects of Hebron City such the infrastructure projects.
